DR. ANA RODRIGUEZ

She truly believes that all systems in the body are connected and she utilizes this idea to help to support health and healing in those who seek her care. She utilizes acupuncture, craniosacral, and visceral manipulation as integral parts to most treatment plans, as she believes that it is extremely important to restore the connection between body, mind, and spirit. She evaluates laboratory work through a whole-body lens and incorporates nutrition counseling, nutraceuticals, and herbal medicine as appropriate to the individual in front of her.

Dr. Ana deeply cares about health equity and improving access to naturopathic medicine and acupuncture to those in underserved communities. She is an active member of the American Association for Naturopathic Physicians and has traveled to Washington D.C. to lobby for naturopathic medicine.

Outside of the office, Dr. Ana loves spending time with her friends and family, especially her toddler, Maxwell. She and her husband are self-proclaimed foodies, so they are always exploring local restaurants and coffee shops. Dr. Ana is a runner, weight lifter, and nature explorer. In addition to enjoying the outdoors, Dr. Ana is passionate about the arts. She believes that live arts are a powerful way to understand the human experience and make positive changes in our communities.

How it works: The practitioner gently evaluates and supports the rhythm of cerebrospinal fluid flow to release restrictions and restore balance to the central nervous system.

Goals: Promote deep relaxation, reduce nervous system stress, and improve whole-body health and function.

Common reasons for use: Headaches, migraines, anxiety, insomnia, TMJ disorders, chronic fatigue, emotional trauma, and nervous system regulation.

  • Visceral Manipulation

What it is: A gentle manual therapy that focuses on the internal organs (viscera), such as the liver, intestines, and kidneys.

How it works: The practitioner uses light, precise touch to assess and improve the mobility and function of the organs and the connective tissues that support them.

Goals: Improve organ function, relieve pain and dysfunction, support digestion, enhance circulation, and release tension patterns.

Common reasons for use: Abdominal pain, digestive issues, post-surgical recovery, scar tissue restriction, chronic pelvic pain, and general tension or inflammation.
