A $100 annual administrative fee is collected when your first appointment is reserved.

Recent results from another healthcare provider may also be helpful, so please upload them to your patient portal before your appointment.

To reschedule or cancel, please contact us at least 24 hours before your appointment. Late cancellations and missed appointments may be charged the full visit fee.

Yes. The Kinney Clinic offers secure virtual appointments for many new and established patients, depending on the provider, type of care needed, and the patient’s location. Virtual naturopathic and functional medicine appointments allow you to meet with your provider from the comfort of home. Some evaluations, treatments, and therapies require an in-person visit at our Annapolis, Maryland, clinic.

Virtual appointments are charged to the card on file on the morning of the scheduled visit. If the payment is declined or the card needs to be updated, our team will contact you before the appointment. Any supplements, products, or additional services recommended during the visit will be charged separately afterward.

Your provider will recommend an appropriate follow-up schedule for your individual needs. Visits may be more frequent at the beginning of your care and become less frequent as your health improves and your plan becomes established.

Insurance, Pricing & Payments

The Kinney Clinic is a private-pay naturopathic and functional medicine practice and does not participate with or bill health insurance companies directly. Payment is due at the time of service. Insurance coverage varies, so we recommend contacting your insurance provider before your appointment to ask about possible out-of-network benefits.

Yes. Upon request, The Kinney Clinic can provide documentation that includes applicable diagnosis and service codes for you to submit to your insurance company. Reimbursement is determined entirely by your individual plan, and we cannot guarantee that your insurance company will cover or reimburse any services, laboratory testing, or treatments.

The Kinney Clinic accepts major credit and debit cards, Health Savings Account cards, Flexible Spending Account cards, and CareCredit. Payment is due at the time of your appointment or service unless another arrangement has been approved in advance.

Yes. We accept HSA and FSA cards as well as CareCredit for eligible services and purchases. Because individual plans have different rules, we recommend confirming eligibility directly with your HSA or FSA administrator or CareCredit before your visit.

Yes. Depending on the provider’s credentials and scope of practice, our naturopathic doctors and family nurse practitioner may prescribe medications when appropriate. IV Therapy & Restorative Services

You do not always need to be an established patient to receive IV hydration or nutrient therapy at The Kinney Clinic. New IV clients must complete the required intake and medical screening process, and our IV nurse may request recent laboratory results before treatment. Eligibility and the most appropriate IV formula are determined based on your health history and individual needs.

Laboratory testing requirements depend on your medical history and the type of IV infusion you are considering. Some IV therapies may be available after completing a health screening, while others require recent laboratory results before treatment. Our clinical team will review your information and let you know exactly what is needed before your appointment.

Prepaid packages do not expire, allowing you to use your remaining sessions at your own pace. All packages are nonrefundable.
